My Story

My Home Life: 

I am the youngest in my family and live with my mother and siblings—three brothers and four sisters. My mother’s name is Nabirye Harriet, and we live in a single-room brick house in Butangala village.

Derrick is a disciplined child who respects me and other elders. His responsibilities at home include washing utensils and sweeping the compound.

I am a single mother taking care of my children. Their father left us and started another family, and he does not provide any support. I work as a school cook and earn 110,000 shillings a month, but this is not enough to cover rent, food, and other family necessities. This is why I am in need of educational support.
