My Story

My Home Life: My name is Sylive, and I live in Butogonha Village with my mother, Namuyomba Annet, and my sister. We stay in a house with an iron sheet roof. My father, the late Waiswa Christopher, passed away in August 2022. I am the firstborn in my family.

At home, I help with daily responsibilities such as fetching firewood and water from the borehole, washing utensils, and cleaning the house and compound.

My mother is a peasant farmer who earns very little from her garden produce. Most of her income goes toward basic family needs and caring for my sister, who has medical problems.

Due to these financial hardships, my mother often struggles to pay my school fees. That is why I am seeking support to continue my education and work toward achieving my dream.
