My Story

My Home Life:

My name is Namabiro Manjeri, and I am the mother of Precious. We live in Kiwolela village in a small one-bedroom house. Precious has four sisters and two brothers. At home, she helps with cooking, fetching firewood, and washing utensils.

My husband and I are peasant farmers. We grow food mainly for home consumption and occasionally help other farmers with harvesting during the seasons in June and November, earning about 10,000 shillings ($2.86) per day. Unfortunately, this income is not enough to cover all our basic needs, including our children's education. That is why we are kindly seeking support to help Precious continue her studies and build a better future.
