My Home Life:
I live in a one-bedroom brick home in Bunangwe Village with my maternal grandmother, Namulondo Sarah. I am the last born in our family, and I have one brother. At home, my responsibilities include collecting water from the well, washing utensils, and cleaning the house and compound.
Both of my parents went to Kampala to look for work, but they do not send any financial support to my grandmother. She is a tailor who earns a living by mending people's clothes. On a good day, she can make about 7,000 shillings (approximately $2.00), but this is not enough to buy food, clothing, pay school fees, or cover other basic needs.
