My Story

My Home Life:   

I am the second-born in my family, living with my mother, Tushabe Prossy, my stepfather, Mukose Muzaham, and my siblings—one sister and three brothers. My mother works as a casual laborer, digging in other people’s gardens and doing laundry for others in Kainhogoga village. My stepfather only takes care of his biological children’s school fees. He also does laundry and earns 5,000 shillings ($1.43) from this work.

My father passed away on November 17, 2017, and the cause of his death is unknown.

Ruth is a very hardworking and organized student.
