My Story

My Home Life:

I am the fourth born in my family, living in Kiboyo village with my mother, Kagoya Agnes, and my four brothers.

At home, I help by collecting firewood, fetching water from the borehole, washing utensils, and keeping our house and compound clean.My parents separated, and my father's whereabouts are unknown. My mother works hard as a casual laborer, helping in other people's gardens to earn a living. She can work from morning until noon for five days and earn 15,000 shillings. However, this work is seasonal and done by many people in our village, so my mother doesn't get such work every day.

In addition to her labor, my mother is also a peasant farmer, growing crops like corn, sweet potatoes, pinto beans, and groundnuts for both home consumption and sale. Despite her hard work, the money she earns is not enough to cover all our basic needs at home, which is why I am seeking your help to continue my education and achieve my dreams.
