My Story

Hi there!

My name is Kevin, and I’m the firstborn in my family. I live with my amazing grandmother, Kagoya Efulansi, and my little brother and sister. We live a thirty minute walk from school in a small house where I help out by fetching firewood, collecting water from the well, washing dishes, and keeping our home clean and tidy.

My parents separated and married different partners, so my grandmother takes care of us. She’s a super hardworking farmer! She grows groundnuts, beans, corn, and sweet potatoes. During harvest time, she can sell one bag of groundnuts for 40,000 shillings and one bag of beans for 50,000 shillings. This money helps buy food, soap, and other things we need.

But it’s still not enough to cover everything, which is why I’m hoping for someone to help me continue my education. I love learning and dream of doing something amazing one day!
