My Story

My Home Life: 

I am the firstborn in my family, living with both my parents, Nangobi Shamirah and Pmooko Grace, as well as my sister and brother. My parents are peasant farmers who grow crops such as corn and pinto beans. They harvest pinto beans for both home consumption and sale. For example, they harvest five bags of beans, each weighing 100 kg, sell two bags at 50,000 shillings ($14.28) each, and keep the rest for our household. While they wait for the next harvest season, the money they earn is used to cover our basic needs and send us to school. However, it is not enough, which is why I am seeking a sponsor.
