Hearts & Hope
My Home Life: I am the firstborn in my family, living in Kiboyo village with my parents, Kisambira Latif and Namutamba Shaminah, and my two sisters. We live in a house with one living room and one bedroom. At home, I help by collecting firewood, fetching water from the well, washing dishes, and keeping our house and compound clean.
My parents work tirelessly as peasant farmers, growing crops such as corn, pinto beans, and sweet potatoes. Some of these crops are sold, while others are kept mainly for our own consumption. The money they earn from selling part of our harvest helps cover our basic needs and pay for my siblings' and my education. However, it is not enough to fully support our schooling.
This is why I am seeking support to continue my studies and achieve my dreams.
