My Story

My Home Life

I am the 2nd child in my family, living with my mother, Nabuloobi Barbra, and my siblings (1 brother and 3 sisters). I am a bright and hardworking girl. At home, I assist by fetching firewood, collecting water, cooking with my older sister, washing utensils, and cleaning our house and compound. My father passed away in a tragic accident on May 6, 2022. Since his death, my mother has been struggling to find a paying job or casual work to support our family. Recently, someone helped her secure a loan of 350,000 shillings ($100.00) to start a firewood-selling business in our front yard. The income from this business is used to cover our basic needs and school fees, but it is not sufficient. This is why I am seeking a sponsor to help me continue my education.
