My Story

My Home Life: My name is Muwaira, Muzaham; I am the Father to Zaintuna. We live in Mbulamuti village in a one-bedroom brick house.

Zaintuna has 3 sisters and 1 brother. Her responsibilities at home are cooking, fetching water and washing utensils.

I am a brick layer to provide a source of income for my family.  The earnings are too low to pay for all of the basic needs for my family. When I make bricks, it is a long process which involves making them, dry and burning them. This process takes 3 months.  I make 300 bricks within a 3-month period and will earn 3,000 shillings ($.86).  This amount of money is not enough to provide for the basic needs of the family hence we are in need educational help.
