Nakabango Primary School
My Home Life: I live in Nakabango village with my Maternal Grandmother and siblings (1 girl & 4 boys). My Grandmother’s name is Mwasiti, Jalia.
My responsibilities at home are fetching water from the borehole, washing utensils and cleaning the house & compound. My Father died and my Mother is still alive but she went away to look for work and cannot find any. My Grandmother works so hard as a peasant farmer; she grows crops such as corn, sweet potatoes and pinto beans in our garden for both home consumption and to sell. She can for example harvest two bags of corn, selling one bag at 45,000 shillings ($12.85) and leave the other bag for home consumption. The money my Granny earns is used to pay for our basic needs at home and also send us to school, but there isn’t not enough money for school, which is why I need a sponsor so that I can continue going to school.
My dream when I finish school? Is to become a Teacher.
How can you pray for me? Please pray for me to study well so I may help my Grandmother financially in the future.
