Hearts & Hope
My Home Life: I live In Busobya village with my 3 brothers. We lost both of our parents in a car accident seven years ago. As the eldest of four brothers, I had to stop going to school in order to take care of my younger siblings. To provide for them, I began working by digging in people’s gardens in exchange for food.
Two years ago, I started saving money and was eventually able to buy a boda boda (motorbike). I now use it to transport people in our community, earning about 8,000 Ugandan shillings (approximately $2.29) per day. However, this small income is not enough to both care for my brothers and cover school fees, which is why we are in need of educational support.
Enock is a disciplined and respectful child. He helps at home by washing utensils, sweeping the compound, and mopping the house. He deserves a chance to continue his education and pursue a better future.
