My Story

My Home Life:  I am the firstborn in my family, living with my stepmother, Tushabe Prossy, my father, Mukose Muzaham, and my siblings. I am a kind boy, and I always encourage my siblings to do what is right. At home, I help by fetching firewood, collecting water, cooking, washing utensils, and cleaning our house and compound. My father works as a casual laborer, acting as a porter at construction sites, where he earns UGX 7,000 a day. My stepmother is also a casual laborer, doing tasks like digging in other people’s gardens and washing laundry for villagers. She can earn 5,000 shillings ($1.43) from laundry and 10,000 shillings ($2.86) from gardening work. However, casual labor opportunities are not guaranteed on a weekly or monthly basis, as many people in our village rely on such work. The money earned is used to cover our basic needs and school fees, but it is not enough. This is why I am in need of a sponsor to help me continue my education.
