My Story

My Home Life: I am the ninth born in my family, living with my brother, Mpaata Paul, and his family. I have four sisters and four brothers. My parents separated some time ago, and our father's whereabouts are unknown.

I am an obedient and hardworking boy. At home, I help by fetching firewood, collecting water, cooking, washing utensils, and cleaning our house and compound. My brother is a peasant farmer who grows crops such as corn, bananas, and pinto beans, primarily for home consumption and sale. He can harvest two bags of beans and sell one for 50,000 shillings ($14.29) over the entire four-month season. This money is used to cover all basic needs at home and to send his children and me to school, but it is not enough. Therefore, I need a sponsor to help me continue my education.
