My Story

My Home Life:  I live in Ishongororo village with my Father, Stepmother and my 4 siblings. My Stepmother’s name is Mbabazi, Kedres and my Father’s name is Bagwayo, Samuel. My responsibilities at home are gardening in our small garden, fetching firewood, fetching water from the well, washing utensils and cleaning the house and the compound. My mother died in 2012 from high blood pressure. My Father and Stepmother work so hard as peasant farmers. We grow crops such as bananas, watermelon, maize and beans on a small scale and use the remaining for home consumption.  Nevertheless, the money earned from selling some of our yields is not enough to even pay for basic needs at home which is why I need a sponsor so that I can continue going to school.
