My Story

My Home Life: My name is Nanyazi, Amina; Mother to Matama. Our family lives in Busobya village in a single-room brick house.

Matama has 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Her responsibilities at home are cooking, fetching water, digging and washing utensils.

I am a housewife and my husband (Kayongo, Charles) is a boda boda driver who drives people around the village and earns 7,000 shillings ($2.00) in a day which has to pay for the house and the fields rent.  We grow food in the fields for home consumption only. The money my husband ears is not enough to pay for the family basic needs and pay school fees for all my children hence in need of educational help.
