My Story

My Home Life: I live in Nalwire village with my grandparents, Makhoha Steven and Nabwire Mary. I am the firstborn in our family. My mother’s name was Auma Jane, who passed away in 2020. My father’s name is Onyango Kened, but he has not supported me or my grandparents since I was four years old.

My responsibilities at home include fetching firewood, drawing water from the borehole, washing utensils, and cleaning the house and compound.

My grandparents work hard as peasant farmers, but they are aging and have eight biological children, some of whom are still under their care. This is why I need help to continue my education and achieve my dreams.
