Abubakali is the 1st born in his family living in a rented house of one bedroom which they pay 20,000ugx per month. The parents separated in 2003 and the father does not send them any financial help. The mother is a peasant farmer who grows crops like maize, beans, sweet potatoes, and vegetables mainly for home consumption. They sometimes sell part of their yields but this depends on how much they've harvested for the season.
