My Story

AN INTRODUCTION TO MUSITAFA
I am the firstborn of six children, with one sister and four
brothers. My parents separated and abandoned us,
leaving us in a difficult situation. As a result, my siblings
were sent to live with different relatives, while I went to
live with my maternal aunt, Nzigu Nesita, in a small home
with two bedrooms and one living room. She cares for me
alongside her three children.
At home, I help with daily chores, including cleaning the
house and compound, working in the garden, washing
clothes, and preparing meals. My aunt works as a school
nurse and earns a modest income that makes it difficult
to support all the children in her care. She is also the wife
of our area pastor and runs a small drug shop in the
community to help provide for the family.
Despite these challenges, I remain hardworking,
determined, and committed to my education. I believe
education can help me overcome my circumstances and
build a brighter future. I humbly ask for your support to
help me stay in school, achieve my dreams, and create a
better life for myself and my family.
