My Story

AN INTRODUCTION TO EDDY
I live in Makota Village with my maternal aunt, Nali Irene,
and my younger sister. I am the first-born of two children. We
live together in a modest two-bedroom house.
I lost my mother in 2021 following a tragic family incident, and
my father is currently in prison. My aunt has taken
responsibility for caring for us and supporting our needs.
At home, I help my aunt by washing dishes, collecting water,
working in the garden, and cleaning our home and compound.
My aunt is a peasant farmer who grows maize, beans, cassava,
groundnuts, and sweet potatoes, mainly to feed our family.
She also works at a quarry, where she sells stones to earn
additional income. However, her income is limited and makes it
difficult to meet all our needs, including my education.
Despite the challenges I have faced, I remain a humble and
hardworking boy who values education. I am determined to
continue my studies and build a better future.
I humbly ask for educational support to help me stay in school
and achieve my dreams. Your support would give me hope and
the opportunity to create a brighter future for myself and my
family.
