My Story

AN INTRODUCTION TO ESEREDA
I live in Makota Village with my parents, Nangobi Maria and
Walubiri Paul, and my three younger sisters. I am the first
born child in our family. We live together in a modest two
bedroom house.
At home, I help my family by washing dishes, collecting water
and firewood, doing laundry, working in the garden, cooking,
and cleaning our home and compound.
Both of my parents are casual laborers who work in other
people’s gardens to support our family. They earn about $20
28.50 after one to two weeks of work. Their income is limited
and must cover the needs of our entire family, including our
education. We also grow beans, sweet potatoes, cassava, and
maize to provide food for our family.
I am a hardworking girl who values education and dreams of
a better future. I believe education will help me support my
family and contribute positively to my community.
I humbly ask for educational support so I can continue my
studies and achieve my goals. Your support would make a
