I live in Makota Village with my maternal aunt, Naigaga
Sarah, and my grandmother, Nakiyemba Jesca. I am the third
born of five children, with two brothers and two sisters. We
live together in a small one-bedroom house.
At home, I help with washing dishes, collecting water and
firewood, doing laundry, cooking, and cleaning our home and
compound.
Because of financial challenges in my family, I was sent to live
with my aunt and grandmother, while my siblings remain with
my parents who live far away. My aunt and grandmother are
peasant farmers who grow beans, maize, cassava, and sweet
potatoes. Most of the harvest is used to feed our family, with
only a small portion sold to meet other basic needs.
Despite these challenges, I am a hardworking and God-fearing
girl who values education. I believe education can help me
build a better future for myself and my family. I am
determined to work hard and make the most of every
opportunity I receive.
I humbly ask for educational support to help me continue my
studies and achieve my goals. Your support would give me
hope and help me work toward a brighter future.
