My Story

AN INTRODUCTION TO PRECIOUS
I live in Makota Village with my father, Damba Herbert,
and my two sisters. I am the second-born of three
children. We live in a modest one-bedroom house.
At home, I help my family by washing dishes, collecting
water and firewood, doing laundry, cooking, and cleaning
our home and compound.
My parents separated, and my mother left our family,
leaving my father to care for us on his own. He works as
a casual laborer in other people’s gardens, earning about
$8.60 after several days of hard work. His limited income
makes it difficult to meet our basic needs and afford my
education.
I am a hardworking girl who values education and
dreams of a better future. I humbly ask for educational
support so I can remain in school, pursue my dreams, and
build a brighter future. Your support would make a
meaningful difference in my life.
