My Story

AN INTRODUCTION TO MATHIUS
I live in Makota Village with my parents, Bataze John
and Kako Norah, and my seven brothers. I am the eighth
born child in our family. We live together in a small two
bedroom house.
My parents are peasant farmers who grow cocoa, beans,
maize, sweet potatoes, cassava, and coffee to provide
food and earn a small income. However, farming does not
provide enough to meet all our family’s needs. Sadly, one
of my older brothers had to leave school because my
parents could no longer afford the school fees.
I also face health challenges that can sometimes become
severe. Despite these difficulties, I am determined to
continue my education and build a better future.
I humbly ask for educational support to help me remain
in school and pursue my dreams. Your support would give
me hope and relieve some of the financial burden on my
parents. I promise to work hard, stay disciplined, and
make the most of this opportunity.
