My Story

I live in Makota village with my parents, Nabirye Sandra
and Kyankyo Yoram, and my two sisters. I am the second
born of three girls. We live together in a single rented
room, which costs $11.50 each month.
I enjoy helping my family with daily chores such as
washing dishes, collecting water from the borehole, doing
laundry, cooking, and cleaning our home and compound.
My father works as a barber in a salon he does not own
and earns about $1.50 per day. My mother sells silver fish,
earning a profit of approximately $2.30 each week.
Because our family does not own land, we cannot grow
food for our own use, and our limited income makes it
difficult to meet our basic needs. I hope to continue my
education so I can achieve my dreams and build a
brighter future. Your support would help me stay in
school and move closer to those dreams.
