My Story

 I live in Makota Village with my parents, Babirye Juliet
and Isabirye Yahaya, and my younger sister. I am the
first-born of two children. We live in a small house with
one bedroom and one living room.
At home, I help with household responsibilities such as
washing dishes, collecting water from the borehole,
gathering firewood, and keeping our house and compound
clean.
Both of my parents are peasant farmers who grow food
crops such as maize, pinto beans, cassava, and groundnuts
for both home consumption and sale. My mother also
works as a school matron at St. John Lutheran, where she
earns about UGX 150,000 ($38.33) per month. Despite
their hard work and efforts to provide for our family, their
income is limited, making it difficult to meet all our basic
needs, including my educational expenses.
I am a humble girl who loves school and values my faith. I
am therefore humbly requesting educational support to
enable me to continue with my studies and work toward
achieving my goals. Your support would mean a great deal
to me and my family, ease our financial burden, and give
me hope for a brighter future.
