I live in Makota Village with my mother, Nakatabaazi Betty,
and my siblings. I am the fifth-born child in a family of eight
children, with four girls and three boys. We live in a modest
house with one bedroom and one living room. Three of my
older siblings no longer live with us.
At home, I help with various household responsibilities,
including washing dishes, collecting water from the borehole,
gathering firewood for cooking, doing laundry, cooking, and
keeping our house and compound clean.
My parents separated, and my father abandoned our family,
leaving my mother with the full responsibility of caring for us.
He does not provide any financial support. My mother works
as a casual laborer in other people’s gardens to earn a living.
She typically works from morning until afternoon for five to
seven days and earns approximately UGX 30,000 ($7.66).
Despite her hard work, her income is not enough to meet all
our family’s basic needs, including my educational expenses.
I am a hardworking boy who values education and is
determined to build a better future. I kindly request
educational support to help me continue my studies and work
toward achieving my future goals. Your assistance with my
education would be sincerely appreciated and would make a
meaningful difference in my life and my family’s
circumstances
