I live in Makota Village with my parents, Bamulanze Aggrey (my
father) and Nakisige Shaminah (my mother), in a modest home
with one bedroom and one living room. I am the second-born
child in a family of five children, with one sister and three
brothers.
At home, I help with various household responsibilities, including
washing dishes, fetching water from the borehole, collecting
firewood for cooking, and keeping our house and compound
clean.
My parents are peasant farmers who grow food crops such as
beans, mainly for our family's consumption. To supplement our
family's income, they also work as casual laborers in other
people's gardens whenever work is available. They typically work
from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. for one to two weeks at a time and
earn between UGX 15,000 and UGX 20,000 ($3.82-$5.10) each
after their hard work.
Because their income is limited and irregular, my family often
struggles to meet basic needs, including the cost of my
education. Despite our financial challenges, I remain
determined to work hard in my studies and achieve my goals so
that I can someday be in a better position to support my family.
I respectfully request educational support to help me continue
my education and pursue my dreams. Your support would give
me the opportunity to remain in school, work toward my goals,
and build a brighter future for myself and my family.
