My Story

I am the fourth-born child in my family, with two brothers and one sister. I live with my parents, Katono Edinansi and Kiiza Peter, in a modest home with one bedroom and one living room. At home, I help with household responsibilities such as washing dishes, fetching water from the borehole, and keeping our house and compound clean. My parents are peasant farmers who also work as casual laborers to support our family. After two days of hard work as casual laborers, they earn about UGX 10,000 ($2.57). The food crops they grow are mainly for our family's consumption, and they earn very little from farming. Because of their limited income, our family often struggles to meet our basic needs, including the cost of my education. I am a humble, obedient, and hardworking girl who values education and is determined to succeed in my studies. I respectfully request educational support to help me continue with my education.
