My Story

I live in Makota Village with my parents, Nanangwe Sylvia (mother) and Mugabi Enock (father), and my two brothers. I am the third-born child in our family. We live together in a modest home with two bedrooms and one living room. At home, I help with various household responsibilities, including washing dishes, fetching water from the borehole, collecting firewood for cooking, doing laundry, working in the garden, cooking, and keeping our house and compound clean. My father earns a living by making and selling bricks. He operates his brick-making business with a capital of UGX 250,000 ($64.13). My mother is a peasant farmer who grows food crops such as corn, pinto beans, cassava, sweet potatoes, and groundnuts, mainly for our family's consumption. She does not have a regular income from farming. Although my parents work hard to provide for our family, their income is limited and often not enough to meet all our household needs, including the cost of my education. I am determined to continue my studies and work hard toward achieving my educational goals. Your support would allow me to continue my education and greatly reduce the financial burden on my family and give me the opportunity to pursue my education and build a better future.
