I am the second-born child in my family, and I have two sisters. We live together with our parents in a grass-thatched house. My father is Ouma Richard, and my mother is Ajiambo Sylvia. At home, I help with various household responsibilities, including collecting firewood, fetching water from the well, washing utensils, and cleaning the house and compound. My parents are peasant farmers who grow maize, beans, and cassava in our home garden, mainly to provide food for our family. In addition, my father works as a builder, but he does not have steady employment and earns very little income. Sometimes, he can go an entire month without finding work. The small amount of money he earns helps us meet some of our basic needs, but it is not enough to cover our school fees. That is why I am seeking support to continue my education, remain in school, and work toward achieving my dreams in life.
