My Story

I live in Makota village with my siblings and
parents in a house of two bedrooms and one living
room., My mother’s name is Nangobi Maria and my
father’s name is Walubiri Paul. I am the second
born in a family of four girls. 
 
Both of our parents are casual laborers; they work
in other people's gardens. They usually work from
7:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. for about two weeks at a time
and earn between UGX 70,000 and UGX 100,000.
They also grow crops mainly for our family's
consumption. 
Although my parents work hard to provide for us,
their income is not enough to meet all our
household needs and support our education and
such casual work is seasonal. I am a hardworking
and determined student who loves school so, I
therefore humbly request support to help me
continue my studies and live a better future.
