My Story

My Home Life:

I am the fourth-born child in my family, with two siblings—one boy and one girl. We live with our father, Kisambira Abdul Aziz, and our paternal grandmother, Nangobi Aisha.

At home, I help with household responsibilities such as collecting firewood for cooking, fetching water from the borehole, and washing utensils.

My parents separated, and my mother left our village in search of casual work. She occasionally sends financial support and visits us whenever she can. My father works at construction sites and earns about UGX 20,000 (about $5.71) per day when work is available. However, construction jobs are not regular, and there are times when he goes for long periods without work.
