My Story

My Home Life:

I am the second-born child in my family, with four siblings—three boys and one girl. We live with both of our parents, Tasi Isma (father) and Aliyinza Hellen (mother).

At home, I help with household responsibilities such as cleaning the house, washing utensils, collecting firewood for cooking, fetching water from the borehole, doing laundry, working in the garden, and helping with cooking.

My parents are peasant farmers who grow crops such as maize, sweet potatoes, pinto beans, soya beans, and cassava in our home garden for both home consumption and sale.

The income they earn from selling part of the harvest is used to meet our basic needs and pay school fees, but it is not enough to fully support the family’s needs. For this reason, I am seeking sponsorship to continue my education and achieve my dreams for a better future.
