My Story

My Home Life: I am the first-born child in my family. I have two siblings—one boy and one girl—and we all live with our maternal grandmother, Naigaga Jamawa.

At home, I help with household responsibilities such as collecting firewood and water from the well, washing dishes, and keeping our house and compound clean.

My father passed away in December 2024 due to high blood pressure, and my mother’s whereabouts are unknown. After my father’s death, my siblings and I were taken in by our grandmother.

My grandmother is a peasant farmer who grows crops such as maize, sweet potatoes, cassava, beans, and groundnuts on a small scale, mainly for home consumption. However, her farming activities are limited due to health challenges, including high blood pressure, severe ulcers, and joint pain.

We occasionally receive small financial support from relatives, which is sometimes used to cover basic needs and school fees. However, this support is not enough to meet all our educational and household needs.

For this reason, I am seeking sponsorship to continue my education and achieve my dreams for a better future.
