My Story

My Home Life: I am the second-born child in my family, with two siblings—one boy and one girl. My mother is Mutesi Aminah, and my father is Ssalongo Hussein.

At home, I help with household responsibilities such as collecting firewood and water from the well, washing dishes, and cleaning the house and compound.

My parents buy and resell vegetables such as cabbage, maize, and eggplants in our village to earn income. In addition, we grow food crops like pinto beans, maize, sweet potatoes, and cassava in our home garden mainly for family consumption.

However, the income they earn from selling vegetables is not enough to meet our basic needs and pay school fees. For this reason, I am seeking support to continue my education and achieve my dreams for a better future.
