Hearts & Hope
My Home Life:
I am the seventh-born child in my family, with five siblings—four girls and one boy. My mother’s name is Bilibawa Sara, and my father’s name is Kisirira Moses.
At home, I help with household responsibilities such as collecting firewood, fetching water from the well, washing dishes, cleaning the house, and keeping our compound clean.
My father earns a living as a boda boda rider and can make a profit of about UGX 15,000 on a good day. My mother is a peasant farmer who grows crops such as maize and pinto beans mainly for family consumption.
The income my father earns from riding a boda boda is used to provide for our basic needs and pay school fees, but it is not enough to fully support our family. As a result, meeting educational expenses is often a challenge.
For this reason, I am seeking support to continue my education and pursue my dream of becoming a doctor in the future. With the opportunity to stay in school, I hope to work hard, achieve my goals, and one-day help others in my community.
