My Story

My Home Life:

I am the third-born child in my family. I have two siblings—one girl and one boy. I live with my paternal grandmother, Nalubowa Fatiyah.

At home, I help with household responsibilities such as collecting firewood and water from the well, washing dishes, and keeping our house and compound clean.

My parents are separated. My mother’s whereabouts are unknown, and my father left our village in search of work. Occasionally, he sends us a small amount of money from the casual jobs he does, but it is not enough to meet our needs.

My grandmother is a peasant farmer who grows crops such as beans and maize for both family consumption and sale. The income she earns from selling part of the harvest, together with the small support my father occasionally sends, is not enough to provide for all our basic needs and pay school fees.

For this reason, I am seeking sponsorship to continue my education and achieve my dreams for a better future.
