Hearts & Hope
My Home Life: I am the seventh-born child in my family, with six siblings—two boys and four girls. We live with our parents, Nagayi Amina (mother) and Twayili Musalwa (father).
At home, I help with household responsibilities such as cleaning our house and compound, washing dishes, and collecting both firewood for cooking and water from the borehole.
My parents work as casual laborers in other people’s gardens to earn a living. They are also peasant farmers who grow crops such as maize, groundnuts, sweet potatoes, pinto beans, and cassava in our home garden, mainly for family consumption.
The income my parents earn from casual labor and farming is barely enough to meet our basic needs and pay school fees for me and my siblings. Despite their hard work, providing for our large family remains a challenge.
For this reason, I am seeking sponsorship to continue my education and achieve my dreams for a better future.
