My Story

My Home Life: I am the second-born child in my family, with four siblings—three boys and one girl. We live with our paternal grandfather, Waiswa Sowali, and our paternal grandmother, Nankwanga Mariam.

At home, I help with household responsibilities such as fetching water from the borehole and cleaning our compound.

My parents separated, and my mother’s whereabouts are unknown. My father left our village in search of work, but he does not provide any financial support, and we rarely hear from him.

My grandparents are peasant farmers who grow crops such as maize, sweet potatoes, pinto beans, and cassava for both home consumption and sale. Despite their hard work, the income they earn from farming is not enough to meet all our basic needs and pay school fees for me and my siblings.

For this reason, I am seeking sponsorship to continue my education and achieve my dreams for a better future.
