My Story

My Home Life: I am the fifth-born child in my family. I have four siblings—two boys and two girls. My mother is Nakalema Mary, and my father is Bogere Christopher.

At home, I help with household responsibilities such as collecting firewood, fetching water from the well, washing dishes, and keeping our house and compound clean.

My parents are peasant farmers who grow crops such as beans and maize for both home consumption and sale. After a good harvest, they are able to sell some of the maize, but the income they earn is not enough to meet all our family’s needs and pay school fees.

Because of these financial challenges, I am seeking support to continue my education and work toward achieving my dreams for a better future.
