My Story

My Home Life: I am the fourth-born child in my family, with four siblings—two girls and two boys—who are currently living with other relatives. I live with my aunt, Kagoya Kasfah, and her family. She is married and also has her own children.

My mother passed away due to an unknown cause, and my father left our village in search of work, and his whereabouts are unknown.

At home, I help with household responsibilities such as fetching firewood and water from the well, washing utensils, and cleaning both the house and compound.

My aunt works hard as a peasant farmer, growing crops such as maize, sweet potatoes, and beans for both home consumption and sale on a small scale. The income she earns from selling part of the harvest is only enough to meet my basic needs.

Despite her efforts, it is difficult to cover all household and educational expenses. For this reason, I am seeking support to continue my education and achieve my dreams for a better future.
