My Story

My Home Life:  

I am the first-born child in a family of three children, with one sister 
and one brother. We live with our parents, Nantamu Hadad (father) 
and Namuganzi Prossy (mother). At home, I help by cleaning both 
our house and the compound. 
My mother is rarely at home because she works as a waitress at a 
local restaurant in a nearby town. After a long day of hard work, 
she earns about UGX 5,000 ($1.43). My father is a peasant farmer 
who grows food crops mainly for home consumption. He also 
operates a small local movie theatre in our village, where he earns 
about UGX 10,000 ($2.86) on a good day, which may occur only 
two to four times a month. 

The income my parents earn is used to provide for our basic needs 
and pay our school fees, but it is not enough to cover all our 
expenses. For this reason, I am seeking your support to help me 
continue my education and achieve my dreams for the future.
