My Story

My Home Life: I am the fifth-born in a family of five children—three girls and one boy. We all live with our parents, Mbeguyaki Lukia (mother) and Wamubi Fazil (father).

At home, I help by cleaning the house and compound, preparing tea, collecting water from the borehole, and gathering firewood for cooking our meals.

Both of my parents are peasant farmers. They grow crops such as maize, cassava, pinto beans, and sweet potatoes on rented land that costs 100,000 shillings ($28.57) per six-month season. The crops are used for both home consumption and sale. However, the money they earn is not enough to meet all our basic needs and pay our school fees. That is why I am seeking a sponsor to help me continue my education and achieve my dreams.
