My Story

My Home Life: I am the second-born in my family, and I have four brothers. I live with my aunt, Kantono Rose. At home, I help by collecting firewood, fetching water, washing dishes, and keeping the house clean.

My father passed away in 2017 from an unknown illness, and my mother left the village in search of work. She is currently employed as a school matron, but she earns a small salary. Although she sends us some money occasionally, it is not enough to meet all our needs.

My aunt runs a vegetable stall at Kiboyo Trading Center and also grows food crops such as maize and beans for home consumption. However, the income she earns, together with the small amount my mother sends, is not sufficient to cover our basic needs and school fees. That is why I am seeking support to continue my education.
