My Story

My Home Life:

I am the firstborn in a family of two children, and I have one brother. My mother’s name is Namunana Shaminah, and my father’s name is Muvawala Anthony.

At home, I help by collecting firewood and fetching water from the well. I also wash utensils and clean the house and compound.

My parents are peasant farmers who grow maize, beans, and cassava in our home garden for food. In addition, my father works as a builder, but he does not have steady employment and earns very little income. Sometimes, he can go an entire month without work. The small amount of money he earns helps us meet some of our basic needs, but it is not enough to pay our school fees. That is why I am seeking support to continue my education and achieve my dreams in life.
