My Story

My Home Life:

I’m the 4^th born with 4 siblings (2 boys and 2 girls). Mugoya Julius is my father and Kyazike Minina is my mother.

At home, I help out by cleaning our house and collecting water from the borehole.

Both my parents are peasant farmers and casual laborers; they grow crops for both home consumption and to sell, and they work in other people’s gardens in our village. They can for example work in the garden from morning to noon for 1 week and earn 20,000 shillings ($5.71). The money which my parents earn out of the casual laboring and selling some of our yields is meant to pay for all our basic needs at home and also send us all to school but it’s not enough. That’s why I’m seeking for your support in order to continue with school and achieve my goals in life.
