My Story

My Home Life:

I live in Butangala Village with my maternal grandmother, Nabirye Harriet, and my cousins. I have four brothers and two sisters. At home, I help by collecting firewood, fetching water from the borehole, washing utensils, and keeping the house and compound clean.

After my parents separated, I was sent to live with my grandmother because my mother abandoned us. We do not know her whereabouts or those of our father. My grandmother says that my mother never showed her who our father was, and she does not know where to begin searching for him. My grandmother works as a peasant farmer, growing crops mainly for home consumption, and she does not have a steady source of income. This is why I am seeking your support to continue my education and complete my studies.
