My Story

My Home Life:

I live in a single room in Butangala Village with my father, Iswezi Felix, and my two sisters. My parents separated, and our mother is now married to another man. She has another daughter from her new marriage and does not come to check on us.

At home, my responsibilities include fetching firewood, collecting water from the well, washing utensils, and cleaning the house and compound.

My father works as a bricklayer and earns 7,000 shillings ($2.00) per week. The money he earns is used to send us to school and to pay for our basic needs, including house rent, but it is not enough to cover all these expenses. That is why I need help to continue my education and achieve my dreams.
